You bet they are. We even go to great lengths to insist on US sourced materials too. Sometimes that is not possible, but we make every effort.
We rate everything that actually gets hit in ft/lbs or foot pounds of energy. Exceeding our ratings may cause accelerated wear and we don't recommend it.
We really try to design everything we make to be tool free, but sometimes basic hand tools may be required. Sometimes a drill, and a 7/16" SAE wrench might come in handy. Check the product description to be sure.
